PCD Conversion 100 to 114 ...

is it a good idea? i have a 17" rim with 144pcd. my car's pcd is 100.
integra DB8 1.8 auto.

scared to convert, in case of vibration, fuel consumption, tyre cost...

machine shop willing to do for RM 300+

heard from a friend that such mod may cause vibration at high speeds (ie 120/130 kmph)..

in dilemma... should i use that rim by modding the PCD?

thanks in advance..

The worry about vibration is from improper machining of the bearing holes, since the bearings for the 5 lugs are bigger as far as I know. And even if the bearing holes are slightly off-centre, you will experience vibration.

For mine, I got the knuckles of an EK9, including the tie rods, as I had the same concern about improper machining. I think this is the ultimate way to address your concerns.

I think integra knuckles will fit yours without problems.. Too bad I sold my last set off to my cousin already.
