daniel,
Maybe the result of heavy footed to feel the power and cause your consumption to be high? :)
Ace, you got it right.
I realised that after putting V-Power Racing, the accelarator is getting easier to floor that using the normal Unleaded. Hahahaha...

Finally changed to Motul 4100 SAE 10W-40 "Turbolight" 2 weeks ago for RM116 includes labor. Oil Filter I bought frm Mr Lee for RM10.

Fuel Consumption almost the same but I noticed much better response compared to [Shell Helix Plus SAE 15W-50 + engine oil addictives-around RM18 which I was using b4 this]

However, Motul 4100 viscosity will start to change after 3,000km. Hence, it is meant for 5,000km change intervals or 3-4 months usage. I couldn't find Motul 6100 (better than Motul 4100). Need some feedback from BlackSamurai.

Heard Motul 300V is the premium and can be changed at intervals of max 12,000km or 3-4 months usage. Also very expensive (RM290 for 4 litres).

Those of you who are talking about BP or whatever brands, save some money and make switch to minimum Motul 4100. Guarantee no regrets!!! Pamper your car a bit lar, rather than spend money on your gfs...
Wah, luckily my gf is not ZTH member. hahaha...
Is the Motul 4100 semi or fully synthetic?
How bout the 6100?

dartango, realy much better response? b'coz of the engine oil? or u just feel like better?

Daniel Lee, better power for v-power?

This is my 4th tank of v-power give me 643km, looks like more & more miliage, but power is the same I feel.
esso give me about 610km for full tank.
60L x $1.93 = $115.8 give me 610km esso ($0.1898 per km)
60L x $2.15 = $129.00 give me 643km v-power ($0.20 per km)
Still is expensive.......
If v-power can give me 679km per full tank than the cost will be the same but I don think can give me 679km

Motul 4100 & 6100 are semi-synthetic.

Yu, I definitely felt the improved lightness and responsiveness after using 4100 compared to Shell Helix Plus. No oomph lar.

Btw, how come you can pump 60 litres of fuel?
I read the manual that our car is only 55 litres of fuel capacity.
My mileage (auto trans.) is between 8.2 - 9.5km/litre of fuel (depending on traffic conditions).

dartango, I try many engine oil before but just can't feel any thing. Like even v-power also can't feel any better.
I always pum when my tank is kosong kosong, like the pic. below, always get about 60L per full tank, I pum full till the cap/top, can see by eye is full, hehe..... very very full.

Your mileage is about 9km/L so is about $0.21/km
Any 1 can get $0.16/km? My friend driving Waja auto he get $0.16/km & Vios auto is $0.15/km

Yu, I still get no difference using V-Power Racing.
FC is bad and no performance gain.
Using Shell V-Power Racing, I get RM0.20/km whereas if I'm using the normal Shell fuel, I get RM0.18/km.

Yu, maybe because V-power racing clean some deposit in the engine, which in the result, you get better mileage when you pump back normal petrol

A great video of the 24hour of Nurburgring created by Tim and Nick Hahne of a German production house called stereoscreen.de. It shows life at the 'Ring during the 24 hour race, one of the most grueling but loved endurance race. Its a video worth watching in HD and worth every second of the 13 minutes it runs for.
