very informative site as have been trawling the web the past 2 weeks trying to find answers and it seems you guys know more about JPJ, customs and puspakom than anyone else. Before I go and ask my questions, just thought I would say my background is in NDT which in laymans terms is crack finding so if your doing an engine rebuild and need something checked send me a pm.

ok legal or procedural questions, in no particluliar order....

1. I have an ex-Malaysian Army vehicle which I intended to export to Australian which has no registration card. This was originally no problem but now in Australia they say I have to have prior Malaysian registration . A friend of mine registered a similar vehicle but his runner is now in Kuching so I was looking for someone up around KL that could help.

2. What if you import a chassis is that considered a car requiring an AP or can you get a registration card on a chassis and rebuild a car? For example the car doesn't exist on jpj's database now, if I imported a chassis that was logged into the system??

3. lastly what is the rules for importing classic vehicles? I saw somewhere this is somewhat easier if over 25 years old?
