Hi guys,

Just want know your thoughts and opinions of this engine oil on your RE's.

IDEMITSU Racing Rotary Lubricants 10W30. Apparently its available in Pit Stop, Sunway Pyramid.

Has anyone used it before? any pro's and cons? Or you prefer another make/model?

I'm currently using it for my Rx8. In fact, i bought a whole crate extra (12 1quart bottles). I have enough to last me thru 2010 :).

We at Rx8ClubMalaysia have it for sale among ourselves (club official vendor).

Before this, i used TRUST F3 Rotary engine oil 10w40.

10W is a little bit too light for FD...
just use 15W50 or 20W50, mineral oil..
change every 3000km.. if you trash the car as hard as me, then change after 2 track days..
you can change the oil filter every 2 oil change.

the reason is after 3000km on turbo rotary, the oil became watery and looses it's tachiness and lubrication. it's quite dark but it's just carbon... so, the filter should take 6000 km or 2 oil change.... just do at home... and every 2 oil change.. send for ah choy to take a check everything...
