Can a FWD Car Swap a SR20DET RWD Engine???

Im refering to the Nissan NX model which currently a 1.6cc stock engine and have swap to a twincam 1.8cc...

Can i upgrade the engine to SR20DET??? Can pass Puspakom???

Why not take a SR20DET FWD from a Bluebird? Im not sure about RWD to FWD..but if you take a Honda B series engine for example and put it to RWD..the car wouldnt move forward because the driveshaft moves differently. So I thought it would be the opposite for RWD to FWD too.

So you mean i can look for a SR20DET FWD frm Bluebird halfcut frm a chop shop and put it in the Nissan NX fwd???:hmmmm:

you can fit SR20DET AWD to your NX
puspakom side should be ok

NX is sharing same chasis with B13

Just wonder SR20DET AWD easy to get or not? Wat's the estimated price?
Or can i just put in Mazda B8Turbo engine inside...hehe

SR20DET either come in RWD or AWD only

AWD SR20DET .. a lot in market.. from Rm3500 to RM5500

you can shot mazda if you want it but prepare for the headache of the conversion

overall a complete installation will cost you around 7k to 8k
2WD manual gearbox, driveshaft etc etc etc

But how do i know its a pulsar? Maybe after convert,i dont plan to send it for puspakom inspection...at least can save some money on the inspection...My ori chasis is a 1.6cc but converted to a SR1.8
Dont know why the car is quite powerful bcos ive drove a 1.8cc car b4 but the output is different...They say it might be a Nissan Neo engine but i think not bcos the engine top cover is not blue in color...
Anyone know if i convert to SR20det will it be difficult to get the engine parts (timing belt,water pump,gasket,piston,valve,etc...)?

your SR18DE part is more difficult compared to SR20DE + T

remember.. Nissan Malaysia do carry SR20DE car
so part is more easier to source compared to SR18DE
