...Countless runs, the tuner was mapping the car from 10 in the morning till 7 in the evening....had to stop many times to let engine, tyres, clutch and fuel cool down..how many run did you had? and how much horsie manage to gain? nice flame..
....only managed 490 at the wheels, was hoping for 500+...but then again, can't expect much out of indonesia's poor quality 95octaneWow, that's long... So what are your figures?
Tomei 2.8 and teeny weeny twin Tomei ARMS7660 turbos:hmmmm:Nice! What setup are you running under the hood?
.....no choice leh, had to tune from low to hi RPM, from low boost to high boost. Wait for car to cool down between runs, replensish dry ice on fuel pump & surge tank in between runs, replenish water for the water spray system, tuner also need to rest as it will be like an oven inside the car.oh my.. countless dyno runs? that it time consuming..
I wanted more than just max hp for the tuning, I told the tuner I wanted a nice fat torque curve and drivability/engine response. That's why he need more time to touch-up every single maplong hour dyno... interesting..
Hi DarkChild,490ATW HP sounds abit low for your Tomei 2.8 engine, but you were mapping it for a nice fat torque curve and response. Would be nice to see your graphs.
Is it the Derive or Genesis? Phase 1 or Phase 2?
Still, that a lovely engine. Would it be possible to share with us some pictures? I would love to see this awesome beast. Please do put some pictures up.
Yes, that's the only 4wd dyno that I know exist in Jakarta....did you dyno at khatulistiwa?
