Dear all,

I have a CRV generation one using b20b engine which belong to my family, when I taking out the cr-v for a ride, I notice that the rpm meter will sometimes drop below 500 and the idling become shaky (normal RPM is 1k and the idling is smooth in this situation) when I stop in front of the traffic light and the gear is in D mode.

but after I press the oil pedal and the car move forward, the idling will become normal again.

The rpm meter will only drop below 500 when I idling for more than 1 min.

I not sure what happen, i think it might be sensor dirty or throttle body dirty, I am open to opinion :wavey:

Beside, I 'm not sure which shop who has the expertise to diagnose my problem (I'm from sunway/subang area ), so in the mean time, I need all your opinion to find a way to diagnose the problem.

Thanks you very much.:adore:

usually when it comes to idling with vtec b series its the IACV valve faulty or dirty

not sure if the CRV has it... but do check if it does...

Hello I'm from neighbor country Indonesia. I got the 6a13tt engine with the auto trans from malaysia. I am trying to find the FTO manual transmission to mate with the engine. But it's kind hard to find it here.

Just wondering if someone has ever locked the 6a13tt auto trans AWD and run it as the auto FWD?Can this be done?
