4G92P convert 4G93???

HEY,
i am a wira 1.6 new owner, just i got 1 question to ask!!

Can i buy a 4G93 engine Kosong to fit it??

if can want 2 upgrade which part???
contorl unit wan to change it? or wiring and tuning??

But i dont do it ,coz the quality is lose to change engine,
and then the top speed also lose the 4G93.......

and i hear my fren say if change 4G93 can saving petrol and got same fun.....

n try go chop shop get 4g93 single cam half cut...selling like less than 3k

or else just buy 1 4g93 kosong block but i think u need safc else u'll be running lean...
even 4g91 1.5ltr also have bigger size injector than 4g92p...
so mayb u need 4g93 injector also..

bro...go chop shop and buy engine kosong around rm550. installation plus a few parts around 600. so overall cost is rm1200. den u can have fun. its good at pick up coz ur using 1.6 gearbox. can follow stock gti. hehe. but top speed still stay the same unless u mod a bit. or if u dun satisfied, add another 900 bucks to change to dohc. mine 4G92 pecah dats y change to 93...its fun bro... if u know how to mod, even a single cam u can eat dohc out there...hehe. peace bro...

rm1.5k for soch to doch convertion is quite ok..... do a survey first to workshop and ask for quotation. and then choose the best one lor....... onli my 2 cents

just changing the injector wont make u get performance...might even lose power also coz running too rich

if not u can just go for dohc head conversion...

if not...stay wit sohc n go for 1.8 block

single cam has better pick up...while dohc is good for mid n hi rev

1.5k is enough bro...change to 1.8 la...buy engine kosong only. den terus pasang. fc is still the same. if got more budjet, buy doch head, fc is save summore. but if u wanna play mod, 1.8 soch wit 2.0 block n sum tuning will do...the result is kaw kaw liao...can even tarpau doch n some small turbos...believe it or not? huhu

for me a 1.6 dohc has good pickup too lol .. even a kelisa wit dohc also got powerful pickup so dun worry if u change to dohc le ..

xin... what if jpj tahan us and ask what engine we use.. coz in paper said 1.6 sohc but we use dohc head.. mitsu head sumore??.. :mouth_closed:

btw.. bryan.. ites true 4g93 sohc has better pickup than dohc but dohc can give u better fc than sohc.. doesn matter 1.8 or 1.6..and u can get 50% for 1.6... :_:
