azrun95,
Did you guys dyno in the same shop on the same machine?

Hai alvin24....

We dyno at the same shop...together about 15 cars...this is my 1st expirience in dyno

91 oversize piston - 96 hp
91 standard - 88 hp
92 standard - 91 hp
mivec md 1.6 - 119 hp
GTI 1.8 - 116 hp
mivec 1.8 - 160 hp
GTI evo 3 - 210 hp

me got 78.2 hp.....haha...
oversize piston also
but i not meticulous while taking care of the engine....like i said, not service the engine, using cheap oil, plug not changing, got bent at my rim...

Dyno is on wheel...not on engine

But i not frustated on the result....just wondering....why my hp is low than others....still happy becoz test on the road the result differ than the hp...lol

hahaha.. aiya calvin! me no monster :slug:

btw i haven't got the chance to dyno my 91 but all i can say that it is on par with std mivec 1.6. now im using 93 already because my 91 kebabom. but if u hunger for more power but want to stay with 91 block, then go for highcam (duration depends on the engine compression and what suit for u) and fine tune with piggyback at least. the highest 91 that i came across with just oversize piston and emanage is 115whp at gt auto. might be other 91 users with crazy hp...

azrin....i never dyno my car .....hahaha....i dont know how much my hp.....where do u live...?

At Old Klang Road....

Dyno done at Millenium Sunway.....dyno at 4th gear

My spec:-

81 mm mivec piston
1.8 tb & wiring, AFS 339
240 injector - i think this cause my fuel so rich - above 12
Adj cam - set hi-end
4 wheel gb lock to 2 wheel - is this can cause low hp?...
8.5" flywheel with standard clutch plate - previously using 9" gsr f/w

Quite sometime the 'check engine' will appear when rpm below 3k..... - this i think got something wrong on the adj cam setting

azrin95,

I reckon your issue here is that you don't have a management. Get one then your numbers should be doing pretty well coz' now ur ride will be really out of tune =p Especially with the oversized pistons and non-standard injector size.
I suggest yo go with emanage. =p
