I think won't be easy to get approval right? Like FF cars want to convert to 4WD also not allow...
FF to 4WD definately fail due to too many mod. But LX80 to JZX81 very common. Cause the bolts & nuts hole already there. But depend also on the sifu skill cause minor cut on the solid axle mount muz done nicely loh:)

Yup. That's the trade off

But higher stroke means better fuel consumption

And no need high revving engine when we have the torque
stroke 90mm? meaning your redline will be at 7000rpm...
you'll lost the high-revving engine character of 4AGE...:smokin:
coz of the bore/stroke ratio...:hmmmm:
Bro D7zul, i agree with meg_omen as 7AGE defeat the purpose of high-revving engine character for 4AGE... but with the upgraded torque, nice for u for daily drive:) unless, u're up hill/down hill & track regulary kaki!!!

this i quote from sum1 who quoted Enzo Ferrari

Enzo Ferrari was once quoted as saying "Horsepower sells cars, torque wins races".

and check out this guy's 7AGE dyno sheet.. sexy curve

GearSpeedKelvo...
1st pic --> from Corolla Sportivo / RunX / AlleX
2nd pic --> from Celica GTS
differences...
- cover
- throttle body & cable - straight position for Celica
- intake manifold - 1st pic is older (2piece... i think :hmmmm:)

some Celica folks prefer to use the older intake manifold...:hmmmm:

To help you with you research... this is my references...

What 2zzge did you purchase for your AE111 then?
Mine is a 4 door sedan the one with the euro tail lights.

Add on:

1. Both radiators position are not the same, 1st pic is 90 degrees straight while for Celica GT-S's is not straight (a bit slope).

2. Air intake and battery location: Both engines inversely related (1st pic battery at the front, air intake at the back and vice versa for 2nd pic)

Also, not all wear and tear parts are the same. Example V-belt, oil seals, gear shifter cable, etc.

D7sul I have to be careful on choosing which one to get.
I see but can I still put either the one from a corolla xrs or the celica gts?
