One of those tracks that puts a lot of stress on the engine and the brakes. Interesting to see how the V8s will hold up here.

Ferrari wanted to win this home GP desperately. Let's hope to see some good action happen this weekend.

Prepare to see the Ferrari backlash. This is their home ground and if you watched last years race, just look at how strong Michael was.

Anyways, watch out for Mclaren too. They've always been slow starters but they are particularly strong in European races.

BlackSamurai,

Michael's position finished does not tell the whole story. Though he finished behind Alonso but you just got to look at those massive mid race pace. He totally blew the opposition away with his stunning 2 second per lap quicker than anyone else including Alonso. It came from nowhere as he was pretty slow beginning of the race and after the pitstop, he picked up so much pace that it surprised everyone. However, Alonso hung on to win the race and you could see how well he defended his position too. It was a great race to watch if you're a Michael or Alonso fan.

Judging by practice sessions, it does look like Renault and Ferrari are the team to beat.

Honda seem to be good in qualifying. Button have very consistent performance during qualifying.
