Waja 1.6 change to 1.8 block possible?

Anyone noes is it possible to find a 1.8L lower block and use back Waja 1.6 SOHC head?

Yes, you can do that by acquiring and using the 4g18 block from the 1.8 waja. You can acquire the block at less than 1 k for sure.

Not possible. Waja 1.8 uses Renault engine. Waja 1.6 is using Mitsubishi 4G18 engine. U can't use Mitsubishi 4G93 block either.

unless u can find the newer 4g93's from the lancer coupe glxi model (putra wif the lancer backlights wan).. but y would u wana use back 1.6 sohc head? might as well take the head as well.. jpj approval no prob from 1.6 - 1.8.. imho tat is..

honestly bolt on turbo on original 4G18 0.5bar would be ..nice~

I am very sensitive when it comes to knocking. I can't even tolerate a bit as I am afraid that it will cause serious damage to my engine. I myself am running retarded ignition with very much reduced knocking (still got a bit) on my 4AGE Blacktop.
