Re: Satria Owners At Sri Hartamas ( Projet )

Termizi,
Fit is memang will fit. Just the ride height difference. =) Good luck. haha... let us know the results. =)

Ok, done the swap today ! And the front didnt fit aiya, because of the ARB, mine was screwed to the abs with stab link, while 1.6 is locked to lower arm. Then me and buyer had this solution, get a new front abs for GTi, and we agreed to share the cost as I didnt want to burden the buyer at the same time I need the money too. He (One of forummer but I dont know what's his nickname) agreed and the 1.6 abs he took it back and I tell him can be sold off.

Overall, even with the stock GTi, its so damn high 3.5 fingers gap but Im having comfier ride heheeee

I guess then its the springs that make the ride higher. You used his 1.6 stock springs? Or were u still keeping your GTi springs?

Its with the 1.6 springs. Does it differ with the GTi stock springs ? Nevertheless, Im quite satisfy with it. Perhaps later I'll opt for R3 springs.

i meant first mod for performance of the engine, not first mod on the entire car. SE/GTi/R3 lips memang can't fit or it needs some modifications to make it work?

well while we're at it, what rims would look nice on my car? its white in colour. i'm planning to add skirting all round, dont plan to change bumpers just yet.
since my car is white, i'm thinking i should go for either black or white rims. silver wont look too nice IMO. currently the design i like are those black spoon replicas. 15" should be a good size correct?

Re: Satria Owners At Sri Hartamas ( Projet )

good choice, good choice....white spoons will match

1st mod for engine can be open pod air filter, package with cold air intake OR voltage stabilizer with at least 5-point grounding OR iridium spark plugs with 4-2-1 extractor with a slightly larger piping than stock.....

whichever come 1st....hehehe:driver:
