4g67 turbo..

ok assume that i know nothing bout 4g67 turbo mods and i got budget with only rm10k..
target hp is about 280hp-350hp..what should i done 1st the step by step modification?

assuming my engine:

4g67 1.8
standard vr4 ecu
vr4 injector
hks mushroom type air filter

so guys, what should i do??

p/s:my mech always ask me to changed to evo3 but i don't want.i want to explore the max capabalities of my 4g67 engine.

I would suggest.
remain the block,
anything else, go for evo3.

DONT go for evo 3,stick with 67 bottom end..then plug in all other evo3 items such as head,turbo,ecu + wiring + airflow + injector with gud tune the 16g should get u around 320HP.16g is capable for that figure dun worry.last time my 16g with 0.6 boost get me to 245HP on wheel dyno tune by joshua millenium.That was on low boost coz i just finish my engine fresh install in running in mode still.That was with mirage 61t ecu + 560 evo 6 injector.

short cut with 10K
enjin kosong evo3 - rm2K(max) could be lower
turbo - rm1.2K(with manifold)
injector - rm300
ecu + wiring + airflow = rm1.3K
block preparation(rebore + balancing + new bearings) - rm2.5k(approximate)
arp head stud - rm 450 - 500
head gasket - rm250(maximum mmc metal)
intercooler + piping + ekzos = rm1.5k
and other minor2 stuffs = rm1.5K
total =rm11050

but if i were u.i'd stay with 4g67 head to raise the compression a bit then go for vr4 piston or after market piston gud for fast spool-up on the turbo. save u alot,no need to buy enjin kosong.Just go get piston vr4 around 200-300 only.

but there's still alot of things dun have if rojak like wat u said.

might as well buy entire evo 3 halfcut, then only build wif 4G67block.

don't forget that u still need the e3 lsd gearbox (which u missed out in your 10k recipe)

vr4 piston, vr4 oil pump and vr4 flywheel also needed for the 67block.
also needed VR4 starter. just buy this few stuff already cost like 1k liao.

oil squirter can be savage from evo 3 block.
everything else just use back evo 3...

oil pump use back laa 67,oil squirter no need,gearbox use back, he's only got 10K so that's about it.Proven already that recipe ok for his budget.67 gearbox ratio longer abit.Stick with it bro.hey it's just my 2 cents.Up to it's your money
