Yup, no more performance tyres in 14" category. Last time Yokohama C-Drive 2 still have and not bad, even this already discon.... Also Yokohama AD-07 extreme tyres also have but also discon when AD-08 came out.
I think Izso once mentioned before about BF-Goodrich 14 inch tyres got good grip. I'm eyeing that for my next tyre change.

strongly agrees.. you want to do well in cornering yet you still using such small size tyres?
add enhance anti roll bar, for front and rear.
I dont know much about cars and related stuffs, but big tyres really better in cornering than small tyres? or, maybe there is some explanations.. sorry, im not car expert hehe

@jebatdex
go for ps3 .... price different from xm2 is not much. Note in your future plan.
my wira on ps3.
OK noted, before PS3, need to get a set of rim first la.. that also headache, dont know which one to choose

blue car + silver rim (like now) = nice
blue car + black rim = nice too
blue car + white rim = nice tooo

so end up, stay with current rim hahahah

last time if i remember correctly, XM2 i purchased RM190/piece (5 years back). how bout the price of XM2 and PS3 now? if you say not much different, is it something like RM190 and RM250 maybe?

Is because when you go for bigger rims, say 14" to 15", you need to lower the aspect ratio (tyre sidewall) so that the overall diameter stays as close to your original size.
In 14" I am sure you are either using 175/65R14 or 185/60R14, so when going to 15" you need 195/50R15 or 195/55R15.
Why in 15" it handles better?
1. Tyres are wider, from 175 or 185 to 195mm.
2. Sidewall lower, less flex, means less body roll.
3. you have choice of performance tyres, so traction better.

800-900 bucks not consider cheap to 2nd rim? but if its original like this one, should be worth right?

lets say the rim is 1k, and 4 tyres of PS3 should cost me another 1k, so total around RM2k, maybe?

another thing, lets say in the future i want to upgrade the brake, then this 15" should have no problem right? my current 14" surely cannot be used with upgraded brake

If not spending too much, just look out for Advanti or Enkei 2nd hand rims. New is around RM1k, therefore used probably around RM500 only.
Why upgrade the brakes if you did not mod the engine. A better set of brake pads should be enough....

The plan is there to upgrade the engine, but not sure on d direction yet. Keep as NA or goes turbo. So if wana invest on rims, just wana make sure can be used with upgraded brake system

Go the supercharge route...Sprintex have plug n play kit for Campro CPS which can also fit non CPS with minor mor on the intake.

If u r lucky,u can get used set for less than 5k complete with ecu.

Still risky, since you not sure what BBK also. If BBK too big 15" also cannot fit in, as could be rim size or rims offset even

i start with chicken brand rp01 rims + ps3. Once confirm rims that suitable for the car, get ori lightweight one.
used ori can go 2-3 thousands bucks or more for 15inch. Really lightweight !!! u want to keep it look like rolex or rolix is up to u.

Try and review for us......
Soon. About time to change tyre already anyway. My current tyres are dated back in 2014.

PCD different from your Satria. So, you need an adapter spacer to put these Evo 3 wheels. When buying used wheels, you need to make sure the wheels are still in good condition, at least it is not dent or deformed. Aesthetic things like scratches and paint fade can be dealt with later on without much problem.

Dear forumers...

Got a question here. I bought a front set of absorbers last 3 months but haven't fix into my ar due to some reason. Now, I plan to delay further until december because I want to change the rear sets as well together with other things that needs to be changed.

Keeping a new set of absorbers for that period without fixing them and using them, is it okay? Will it deteriorate the absorbers or cause it to loose durability next time?

Thanks...
