how 2 identify b8 180 engine and tuten ngine ha..

any indication at head ka..block ka etc..

if i boght kosong ngine la..

2 prevent me from "kene kencing" from chop shop tokeh and last but not least the kincing kuat mechanic...

hmmm if your looking at a bpt210 half cut, a 5 lug disk brake would be a dead give away. and err the turbo should be bigger and stamp should start with a vj23

this is not rule of thumb, u may can check, 210 ussually u will see the cooling coil for the oil filter is thicker, the cranshaft pulley bolt size bigger than 180..

- intercooler front mounted
- bigger alternator (damn big wei!)
- bigger turbine VJ23 (bigger than td05)
- bigger throttle body
 
210 front mount ic, 180 side mount
210 injector orange colour, 180 black i think
210 airflow code marking with R
210 ecu code BPC8, 180 BP26

yeah somemore..210 throttle body also has code BPC8
near the aiflow there's one "blacx box" normally attached at the afm, the size same like cigarate box,

how to you measure the 210 throttle body is bigger than 180? i'm very interested to know this man...

basically i'm duno. so far i cant find any information related to throttle body for B8 180&210 yet!!!

there are some forum have telling the 210 is more flow than 180. but for my understanding never see anyone have measure it before. even in the GTR&GTX Menu also never say that got different.
 
I've seen the different, the inlet manifold shape for 210 is slightly diff....
but to make it easy, like 'afahmi' wrote, the code is bpc8 for 210.

last time, when i bought my car, the owner said he got 210 engine, but actually only the turbo & ecu only. Engine, inlet, airflow all 180. I got con tt time !

So, mind the code. = bpc8 at throttle & airflow, turbo obviously bigger than 180, and its twinfin.
 
huyoo..nice info.I don't know pn.Trully i've seen the different that so easy can detect between 210 and 180 is at the throtle body.There a code on the throtle body for 210 is BPC26 and 180 is BP26.Thats the different i can see,...
