Actually I bought my SR20DET from Ah Shin (the workshop ah shin).

The prelude body is considered light as compared to the other hondas. That's what I was told. Especially when you strip the whole car to just the chassis and the body cover.

I'm eyeing on the two wheel turbo category. The white gl from Pheng Electrical is using only 4a but with big big and hardcore internals. Not sure who dyno. But they say it's pulling 400hp on wheels.

Wanna see it go against modded SR20s...

then maybe u know mark the bald guy wit white eg6 hehe
ur SR20DET in wat car bro?
I'm more to grp C vtec open hehe (this yr changed to grp c rite?)
few prelude's dy caught my intention:driver:

Yep I know him. He's a friend. He speaks fluent mandarin and hokien...

In a blue GL. Previously I played 4a turbo 2004-2010. I just sold it off last year and use the money to buy a SR20DET. Main reason is more expensive for me to reach 400hp with 4a than SR20.

Went to dyno at Ah Yong... only pulling 190hp stock.

oic....seems like u really interested in turbo wit big hp hehe
nice bro lucky for u can play turbo, me N/A oredi headache

I started with my college car. Old run down car last time in 2004. That time SR20 was selling over RM6k and halfcut from 6-8k NB/Kingdom/J One.... After college where got money to spend plus need to pay ptptn. So mechanic suggested 4agze, removed the supercharge and put in a ball bearing turbo from S15..... Settlement was in installment of RM500 per month and the rest is history.... (I was slaughtered RM23k for that engine) :deal:

yup tats kind of thing surely happen to any of us who's trying to start playing wit modded car:banghead:
until now i didn't hv any special worksyop to work on my car coz went to few places its just cannot satisfy me huhu

What ride? Engine? If you're into VTECs. There are quite a number of vtec experts out there. Only thing is $$$. For Mitsubishi I suggest you hook up with those Amad or those Ismail. They are serious Evo mods.. Visit his workshop at Muara Tabuan Industrial. For Nissan/VTEC can try Ah Sin at 4th mile. Ah Teng also does serious vtec but he doesn't play anymore. Toyota should go to Auto Terminal. Look for Ah Pao. He's good and his price is also reasonable.

yes the only probs which owez comes 1st is $$$.....
Lot of big reputation wshop but u also know if u said honda, the price sumtimes scary to mention haha
rite know just maintain std, wait till time comes to start

If money is of concern.. sometimes it is best to know those guys doing VTEC. You might make new friends and sometimes they sell second hand parts cheaply... You're using B16 right? Hang out at Ah Sin or at Amad's. Get to know them... They might be able to give you tips or second parts at a very cheap price... That's how I bought my SR20DET for only RM3500. Installation only RM800.

same interest in vtec.. alaaa, mine cant join u la bro.. not a vtec one.. ehehheeee..
just kidding aa bro..

cant wait for sunday.... yeaaa

Hmmmm I suggest you guys should hang out or just drop by their workshop from time to time. Only than you can get acquainted and find out more about vtec parts or other related items.. My friend recently bought vtec B16 and installed the halfcut in his ek for RM11k.

Honestly playing honda is a bit pricey compared to Nissan and Toyota.

yah, upgrading on honda is pricey.. but the power outcome is meaningfull.. eheheheeeeeeee..
bro, later can meet up and tt with others.. eheheee..

hehe yup playing really pricey.....my frens buy toyota hafkat BT for 4.5k only compare to b16 reaching 7-8k huhu
we hv simple tt on this sunday k:wavey:

Toyota BT mods also expensive hehehe.... (if play stock is still cheap) Bottom line is, whatever platform as long as you have the passion and pocket money for it... that's what we call motorsport... expensive hobby but it's all worth it.

Hope can be back by this weekend....

big boys toys:rofl:
