Used to own a Suzuki GSX250, RG250 F & Kawasaki Vulcan 750 over a period spanning 1988 to 2003 (2003 was the accident year). Got the insurance money and got me a Z.

Transplant RB25DET. I know people who has done it besides moonbiker but from a classical car enthusiasist's point of view, they rather have the original engine.

True, dat way you don't devalue your classic car status...as for me, i am not banking on the classic car status i.e. i am not a hardcore classic car collector. Just want the power!
Of course, i could have kept the L28 - but it would have cost a bomb to get it tip-top, IMHO.

HI Guys,

I actually have my '79 280zx in the shop. It has been there for months but its almost done! Its going into the bodyshop soon (within next week). I'm looking for the front signal lights. Do anyone know if we can still get 2nd hand parts here? (wishful thinking!) otherwise, I'll have to order from the US.

Allright! The brotherhood of the Z keeps on growing...what i noticed is that the Z is now becoming favoured by a much younger crowd...i guess there's something to be said about clean lines, good design.

my Z will out to d road around feb next year.planning to swap rb25 soon.

I'll try Tan Chong Segambut. Car should be out before the end of the year. everything mechanincal is done (incl LSD from an R32GTR). car is being stripped of all wiring and mechanicals now for the body work. - Phase 1

Had this car since 1991 and been dreaming of this day! Stay tuned!
