Nissan CEO will revive Datsun - the low cost car Brand

They have Infiniti as the luxury brand

They have Leaf as electric car

And now reviving Datsun as low cost car

Read about it in the net, Nissan will bring back Datsun after 30 years...targeting India as their first market in 2014/2015, producing cars with budget of $3000 to $6000..and still make profit...

Any idea how its gonna look like...surely many hope its based on Datsun 240Z design aite?

At least now we have better quality low cost car. Hope is almost same price as local cars...then It will be a fair competition :top:

Haha..no chance of it looking like that, unfortunately. Chances are, it will be similar to Toyota iQ or Tata Nano, small,boxy city car.

Haha! No need to guess guys....Is not what we expected but I kinda like it if were to compare to Saga BLM, Suzuki SX4 Sedan or any mid-sized car.

True, while they might revive it in the name of "nostalgia".. the world doesn't run on nostalgia.. neither can I pay for my baby's milk with nostalgia.. so in the end its just a giant marketing campaign to garner more sales, sales sales
