wira VDO jerking problem

hi every sifu,

my bro car wira VDO manual, when the car is at low speed 10~20km/h
shifting to 2nd gear, and press accelerator, the car sometimes will jerk jerk a bit only can accelerate.
do you guys encounter this kind of problem before?
what is the thing causing it?

I had this problem last time, fixed it by changing the vdo plug cable, spare part price around rm50, if you're at kepong area, i can give you free, i have some used but in good condition cables

Like what Desmond said - it's most likely faulty cables. If it's not cables then it's your coil. Check your spark plugs to see what colour they are. In my case this jerking problem didn't happen until one of the plugs were already dark black covered in caked oil. My coil wasn't firing problem and intermittantly was working and failing so it was hard to troubleshoot. But the symptoms is similar to yours.
