hello...recently my persona having some problem where the check engine light on and when i change gears from N>D or N>R..the car jerk hardly...(the feeling of jerk is like you releasing the clutch in manual cars)... then engine got no power to accelerate and the gear i assume is locked in 3rd gear where crusing rpm is higher *80km/h=3400rpm., 100km/h=4100rpm... then upon that, i do try shift from D to 2,L the car able to engage 2nd and 1st gear... however when the light didnt on, the gear shift changes is smooth and engine power is like normal..can rev and gears will change when i floor the pedal.. :-) the gear indicator on the meter panel didnt not blink but remain normal..la..
tried sent to proton service center, hooked up the PDT device..they said its wiring behind the air filter loose...reset the ecu and settings.. charged me RM60.. everything back to normal for until 430km of travelling 3 days... the problem came back today when going for shopping then when going back, the check engine light went off until reaching toll..then light up again.. been on and off after start and stop the engine.....
anybody experience the same problem before and able to solve it?
1) cleaned throttle body
2)changed air filter
3)spark plugs
4)tighten the battery terminal
5)atf fluid changed not long ago (around march)
6)changed coolant
7)new engine oil...
