erm.. currently i just driving an old car..haha..i planning to buy a 2nd hand car which have Mitsubishi engine inside..so i now research about which engine should suit me...

If really concern on FC... get a manual kelisa...
If wan something bigger, get a vios...
Reason being 4gxx engines r quite old d... FC wise sure can't compete wif newer generation engines... N also, when u r using 4gxx engines, sure itchy hand, itchy backside mod tis n dat... So ended up compromised on wat u wanted initially...

for a CK chasis and above..4G9x is not considered quite old.
if its CE and below..then yes. it's quite old.

IMHO it's not about either old or obsolete.
if it's in decent condition, well maintained, great overall condition. just go ahead..
and it doesn't mean old engine can't beat newer engine in terms of FC.
as far as FC is concern, healthy engine will give u good FC. no matter how old it is.

good luck on finding a decent engine. just need to be patience. mitsu's are common. not that hard to find.

Of course as long as engine r well taken care of, the FC would b decent... But we need to assume "in general" coz we r talking abt used/2nd hand parts... No???

No. TS doesn't mention on what chassis, what car he drives and what his future converted 4G9x car will be. on my previous post, i said that i am assuming that it is CE chassis and below.
but yet TS have not mentioned it clearly. so, i conclude all the 4G9x series.

CK chassis and above does come with 4G9x engines right..so let it be included in this inquiry. they are still under mitsu's family, so let us include them.

unless TS stated here and afterwards which chassis he refers to, then it'll be much more easier..hihihihihi

ops... my bad... i mixed both his thread up... coz there;s one more thread he mentioned he wanna get a satria wif 4g63....
so if dat's the case, since we r including the newer mitsu engines.... n someone here did shared his experience of having mivec in iswara... shall we include saga/iswara chassis into discussion??? how abt gen2/persona/s.neo/saga BLM???? lets make this a massive discussion!!!
