Less than 1K everywhere also can get lar..
The challenge to get below 500bucks would be something else..

Skylor,
Try scout around..

If you are using just one amp then I think 6 or 8 AWG(gauge) power cable is enough liao. No need high end one lar.. KF qoute me RM400 for Rockford Fosgate from front to rear boot and RM 240 for Taiwanese cables.. ridiculous price I tell you.. the cheapest one I managed to get is RM5/ft compared to KF price of RM12/ft for these Taiwanese cable.. others also not that expensive, around RM120 for 4 gauge cable from front to rear boot.. if use 8 gauge then slight cheaper lor, around RM80...

For RCA, if you are using two preout, then just get two pair of cables lar.. cheap one from China usually around 40-50 but Taiwanese one would b priced higher from 75-90.. some better one (claimed to be but i also never heard of their name, mayb coz im still a newbie in ICE) are around 130-150 like that.. RF also got but I dunno which model (RM240/per pair)..

Then you need a fuse box, or a fuse distribution block is you want to connect more than one amp.. usually cheap one around 80-100 lar.. unless you buy something with fancy display or branded one lar which would set you back 300-400 bucks..

Speaker wire.. depend on what brand they use but normally i think they would use normal one lar unless you request for branded.. one of the shops that I went to qoute me around RM500 for 4 gauge power cable (made by aura but dunno who are them also) from front battery to rear boot, a 1-into-2 distribution block (chaplang brand), 4 channel speaker wire from rear boot to the front door panel, and 3 pair of Taiwanese RCA cables (4.5M length to connect from HU to the amp located in the boot).. others also roughly within 550-600 bucks..

So expect price to be cheaper than Rm500 if you dont need the distribution block or 3 pair of RCA.. unless you opt for some higher end RCA/cables which can set you back a couple hundred, not including installation..

Not sure what you are asking..

I was talking about the power cable in the first part.. comparing prices given the variety of choices ranging from RF (which cost a massive RM400), Taiwanese cables (which varies from Rm5/ft to RM12/ft) and also includes another qoute from a different shop which charge a total of RM120 for 4 gauge power cable (some taiwanese brand probably, named Aura) and RM80 for 8 gauge power cable(same brand) installation.. and with it is a description of the cable length involved becoz I intend to install my amp at the rear end of my car..

2nd part was all about RCA.. varying from China made, Taiwanese made, and some better cable (claimed to be but unfamiliar brand to me). I did include a qoute for RF 2channel RCA which I came across for RM240/pair but I already said I din know which model was that.

The rest were simply a full qoutation by a couple of shops that I went into, which includes Aura 4 gauge power cable (all the way to the rear of my car), an unbranded 1-into-2 distribution block, 3 pair of taiwanese made RCA, 4 channel speaker wire back to my front speaker n tweet inclusive of installation charges. If you didnt need things such as distribution block and 3 pair of RCA, it should b cheaper than the number I got qouted.

BTW I gave these as information to fellow member becoz he mentioned he want cheaper alternative in the topic. And as far as Im concerned, anything below RM1k for similar installation without the use of branded cables are available everywhere. If he requires less gadget/accessory than my case, then it should give him a good guesstimate of the cost involved. If he decide well, he has some extra for some high end cables, its up to him whether or not he want to spent more.
