hey ppl...

just a burst of idea for one of my favourite proton... well the neo of course... it has most of the right curves at all the right places... and for that i congratulate the designer for that.. but whats with the 2 door segment only thing? why limit the potential of this car, why dont proton try to extend the wheelbase, make a sedan/sportback/sport 4dr hatch and make this car accesible for families in malaysia.

as a malaysian, one thing i know for sure is the failure of 2dr cars.. it just doesnt appeal to the masses, as much as anybody would like to own a 2dr sport, they wont. all because of the no 2nd hand value for 2dr cars thing.

so here's a piece i did out of curiosity.. partial sedan tail with extended wheelbase, just wanting to know if such car can appeal to malaysian... i know it fairs well with me, id definately get one if it exist... superb everyday driver then..

i'll buy if its a 4 door car. y? coz can look like scooby version 10!!!!

try to put 1.8 or 2.o,dats will be damn excellent...just dun limit to 1.6 only..

dude, awesome kudos 4 thinkin of something that not much people would think, making a neo into a 4 door, LOL if d right mods and right designs in i think i would appeal to those car enthusiast that want somethin different. very original dude again kudos..

"putra" style would be awesome....

kenny...remember to patent yr designs b4 sending to proton....dun make them goyang kaki n untung off yr ideas...

i oso commented on something that would make it even more unique and appeal more to the young...suicide doors with hidden rear door handles...make it a 2+2 n move the rear door opening to the corner of the wheel arch. makes it look more clean.

^ agreed, less cluttered look with suicide doors

to be honest the only part i didnt really fancy was where the rear door cut across the rear fender

now i look at it, from this angle the rear has hints of an audi TT

tofu...thats y i oso sugested to put the rear opening to the corner of the wheel arch...that way cant see the opening...if the r top side opening also moved to the glass n make it a frameless rear door, will make it look even more like a 2+2...

It would be awesome if they install a sunroof to this 4 door Neo..hehe! :driver:

wah sunroof? will add to cost lar. wait become too expensive...make it an optional accessory la then ok....

damn!! i like yr design bro....can do 1 for perdana ah? a newer facelift...

yap yap agreed, that will make it look hotter especially with the 2 long front doors, scissor-doors anyone?

hahhah, suicide door bro.. thatll be a cost most wont be able to bear..i think i will post a hella lot of problems as were not familiar with those yet, tho a good idea for limited editions or higher priced versions.

I'd like very much for proton to make a model that looks like this, well even if they choose the easy way out... (Direct copy) then it be evident my design works for them too.. i have met up with Dato Nadzmi on several occasions, probably if i get to see him again next time id show him this thread to show how the market response towards a car like this..

thanks again

Looks great for a Proton!

If they kept the fierce lines and general feel of your pic, I think it'd make a hot best selling local car!

And someone said that ZTH was a poor baseline for comparison. Obviously he didn't know there were others in ZTH that are way better than him. Actually everyone in ZTH is better than him.

bro.... please laa... patent ur design and send it to proton, god, i want this, is there anyone here can ask proton design engineer to look at this??

kenny...a little too stubby...dont wanna go the way of the old city do we? another idea would be to make have sort of like a focus rear butt...long n shallow but i think a lot of ppl prefer a butt to mount the ever popular spoiler:biggrin:
