3-4 yrs ago, people were trying to sell maybe because it's nearing the 10th year hence worry will be more difficult to sell later if cannot offer loan anymore, so they try to sell while can still get loans for buyers. I remember that time there were a group of friends in the Evo FB club who within a space of 3-4 months all advertising their Evo 9 and 8MR on sale! Now that it's already over 10 yrs old, those who still have them probably are the more hardcore owners who really love it, hence not easily want to sell.
Good explanation about the loan thing. Now that these cars are over 10 years old, hard to sell already. Same goes for my dream car, Impreza WRX STI Version 9. But recently, I'm seeing 2008 Version 10 model already selling at 90-110k. Tempting if can get loan for these cars.

VR4 from 1988 to 1992, mine 1991, anyway is 3rd owner from original Super Saloon....lol:biggrin:
The first batch 1988 model will turn 30 next year. Modern classic already.

Personal loan interest can get lower than car loan for 2nd hand car.

True about change of priorities. Maybe after so many years, no more mood and interest to buy those cars anymore and focus on family instead. Well, not really a bad thing at the end.

Car 10 years old, save for 9 years car already 19 years old,.......lol:biggrin:
No problem. Cars like GC8, Evo 3, R32, R33 is still deemed as legends.

Don't get personal loans just to buy nice cars la. If you cannot afford it then just cannot afford it, just forget about it and don't force it. That's the problem I see with Malaysia, too many people loan kaw kaw just to show off with nice cars, really not worth it. Nice cars is not essential, so if no money to buy then don't buy them, lower your requirement and just buy what you can really afford to make you go around first.

any loans from bank is better than those sharks. BUT, must know how to manage it. Else dig own grave.
More to self controlling. Use calculator.

Almost RM4400 a year for road tax alone. Quite expensive to maintain such a car. If I met my relative who owns a 350Z, I should ask him about maintenance since he owned the car for like 8 years already.
