Went to my mechanic just now to check on the thermostat. He ask me is it that I suspect is the thermostat. I say I think so and my friend (you) said so. So, he opened up and check the thermostat. Seems like the thermostat is jammed. So, he replaced it with a new one and I hang around there for few more hours to chat and observe what he is doing. When I am driving back, I tried to cruise in 2nd gear at 4000rpm, temperature remains low, not even half. Before the fix, even at low speed after warming up, temperature will be at slightly over 50%. Looks like the problem is solved. I'm going to kampar again on Friday, will test out the car again that time to see if it is okay. Here's a pic of the my jammed thermostat.
