THere are two types of temperature meters.

Does your come with a coil of copper wire and probe (mechanical)

or

the 1 i bought is autogauge EL water temp...

just now i came across a question regarding this gauge..

i'm driving a iswara a/b carb...
my original water temp meter(stock) is a bit crazy... sometimes working sometimes not...

what problem is it?
meter or the "termometer" spoil??
if the termometer spoil then i waste my money buying a new gauge lo is it???

eh... u cannot simply replace the stock temp sender ler... otherwise your radiator fan may not be functioning properly. If u buy a mechanical or electrical water temp gauge suppose to be a add on.. not replacement for stock temp sensor la... there are a few places to fit in your add on water temp gauge...

Usually, when installing additional water temp meter. You have to get an adaptor. Cut apart the water hose and place the adaptor between the cut part. then place the temp sensor on the adpator with a hole provided by the adaptor.
More easy to do like this.
