wat engine suitable for simple mod for ke70

i have corolla dx or known as ke70.year 1980.i would like to change the engine.but dont know wat engine is suitable for the purpose...so if anybody know plz help me...

4AGE lor.....but the price of this engine is getting very expensive due to many takumi wannabe.

Anyway, it's (the engine) a small but good package, with ample power to play with. Consumption oso ok.

4Age from Ae86 is FR...

if u wan FF, u can try 4AGE from ae92, normal use la but stil powerful...

if wan more powerful, 4AGZE....supercharger intercooler engine....:retarded:

ke70 is lightweight. 4age is just powerful enough for you to have fun yet won't burn your wallet on fuel consumption.

however, parts for ke70 (basically ae86 already) don't come cheap. prepare to spend a lot, unless you got good deal in sourcing cheap parts.

my advice is to change the suspension first, if you can't afford to do everything one go. This is because changing the engine first without suspension really makes the car handle horribly.

there are still good ones around, with low mileage. when buy halfcut it all depends on luck too.

blacktops would be fairly okay.
