His engine mounting gave way and he only did 2 runs. But I saw his closest rival's fastest time is still slower than his best, so I guess he won the overall title for that class. So it was a good day for the Golfies.Myself had a poor day in terms of time. The car has traction problem from standing start - wheel spin even when taking off from idle! The rear absorbers are totally worn, resulting in too much weight transfer to the rear when taking off hence no traction on the front wheels.The car also rolls & leans too much. Neverthessless I had fun as I found out the MkII has liftoff oversteer tendencies which means I can let the tail out without using the handbrake (which doesn't bite)! The combination of soft front tyres and hard rear tyres no dount induced this as in the last autocross the car was understeering badly. The car spun in my second run and I had to counter steer a few times, which was great fun :regular_smile:</blockquote>
