Because of the shitty after sales service? Or there are hardly any qualified VW mechanics around? Or because the seats can't support those massive balls you have?

Huh, you've seen his balls already???

No but with all the stunts he's pulled in all the years I've known him - he's got big kahunas!

Actually - in all seriousness I think he's heard info of the Honda Civic 1.5 Turbo coming into M'sia is becoming a reality.

Hahaha, ok so back to square one I suppose...

Not really. Take a guess.

Scirocco R at 190k?

The Roc somehow.. was never attracted to it. But the Roc R @ 190k is a bargain.

What will be your next choice?

Take a guess!

Actually the seats are very supportive, you should really try it out.

I can neither confirm nor deny your statement.

You are waiting for the new 2016 Civic 1.5 Turbo? Since you did mention about it in your first post in this thread.

The 320d I guess.

Nope, with the impending B10 mandate by government, BMW diesel owners are f**cked.

Its definitely a contender. Frankly, I want to avoid buying a brand new car IF POSSIBLE.

The civic also should have better resale value......:smokin:

Nah, I don't really care about resale value, because ALL CARS are depreciating liability. Since you're fucked either way, might as well choose the one you enjoy the most, right?

It was easy really, the GTi Mk7... so I'm going to go save more coins for downpayment. Unless VW slash prices on it like the Roc offer by Tom. Then I'd buy new.

Whoa increased budget a lot eh!? That's about rm150-160k for 2013 car, right? Why not get a 2012 Golf R Mk6?

The R Mk6 is inferior to the GTi Mk7 IMO, because I don't do drag races, there's no snow in Malaysia, and I have no need for 4Motion and the added weight that comes with it.

The engine in the Mk7 is vastly superior when compared to both the Mk6 GTi & R. And it sits on a new MQB chassis which lost some weight compared to the predecessor.

And to put nail into the coffin... my brother said the Mk6 is really the Mk5.5...and its a car that was launched in 2003. My buddy with a Mk6 says forget it, and buy the Mk7.

Then delay, save a bit more and at same time let the Mk7 depreciate more then only buy.....hahhahhahah

Ic, yeah the R is about 150kg heavier than the GTI and if you don't want the AWD then no point.
