read your problem on Toyota segment...

- Check diagnosis error code...
- check AFM pin connector...make sure it's secure tightly...
- check park plug, cable plug and distributor all in good condition...
- then...reset your ECU...see if the trick works...

I've tested on Viva DVVT...similar to VVT-I...
so far no luck... :(

need to check futher more...
