Nissan recently brought out their newly designed DeltaWing racer for the first time to test at Sebring in order to prepare for their championship contention at the legendary Le Mans 24 Hours.
Although it won't be classified in the 2012 Le Mans 24 Hours race, the Japanese manufacturer is looking to showcase their ability to create and utilise pioneering technology.

This race prepared 1.6L four-cylinder engine that possesses direct petrol injection and a turbocharger. The Nissan DeltaWing is half the weight and has half the aerodynamic drag of a conventional racer.

Even though it says Nissan on the side of the racer, they undoubtedly have their partners to thank in helping to create such a radical design. And in the line-up is none other than DeltaWing as well as US-domiciled British designer Ben Bowlby, American motorsport entrepreneur Don Panoz, the All-American Racers organization of former US Formula 1 driver Dan Gurney, Duncan Dayton's two-time championship-winning Highcroft Racing team and Michelin Tires North America.

Now watch and become bewildered!
