well if i remember wat jeremy clarkson said abt this, let the bugatti veyron vs mclaren F1, mclaren F1 launch 1st and veyron only start launching when mclaren F1 reach 120mph, and veyron can overtake the mclaren F1 b4 it reaches 200mph

but i would like to see the car on top gears track just to know how well it handles compared to other supercars

When I look at an Enzo, for example, it reminds me of a racer or an F1 car.

BUT, when I look at the Veyron, it reminds me of the Batmobile, Is it just me or any of you think the same?

This car is crazy alright. 8.0 72deg W16, quad turbos, 7-speed sequential gearbox, and all-wheel drive system. This engine already pumps out 1001bhp. Not to mention 407km/h which is the official top-speed. Wonder how much would the road-tax and insurance be? I think Jay Leno is already thinking of buying this monster to park next to his Mclaren F1.

But the Veyron is a very good example of how racing performance can be applied to a road car. Imagine this, an F1 gearbox only has to last one race whereas the Veyron's need to last a few years!

umm.. ppl? are u all losing something here? acceleration and top speed is two different things.. one is how fast u can reach 407kmph.. the other one is.. u cant even reach 307? the designers of this car had definately hit for the stability and top speed not the pick up.. i believe our friends from the drag race and definately beat veyron in a quarter mile run.. ;)
