This is a true story based on my unpleasant experiences with Honda. I have been a great supporter for Honda vehicles with my unwavering loyalty. However, I berate Honda with its substandard vehicles with terrible quality control over their products. This is certainly not a reliable brand which assures many of its buyers anymore. The slogan of “power to dream” means sarcastically to me as dreaming for the faulty vehicles in some day. Not to imaging only small defects in Honda Cars, but in fact there are severe or major problems persisting in their so called advanced technology engineered vehicles
I just became one of the new owner of a week new Civic Fd2. Perhaps, I am still fortunate and lucky enough as the car still function as normal. However, I am much regretted to recommend my fiancée to get a Honda city two months ago. I am deeply sorry for my misleading information in persuading her to get a substandard vehicle. This brand new Honda City brought her many unsatisfactory experiences with plenty of technical problems. The story begins with rattling sounds with her steering whenever there is uneven road condition. The problem rectified after the 1st service and then followed by the faulty reverse sensor and rattling side airbag. It took precious times away from people who have to work hard to support their life in particularly my fiancée who is a medical sales representative. Time is golden for her to boast her sales, built up networking and fulfil promises to customers. No one willing to fret over and spend more time in problematic vehicles. In fact, what drives people to make a purchase over a car are merely relying on the reliability of the vehicles. People are easily irritated by those unbearable small defects since big portion of our monthly incomes go to the pocket of car manufacturer. The product satisfaction is always being acclaimed easily but it is far to be reached in reality.
Well, I still able to suppress my anger until the faulty CVT transmission in her city arouse. How could such a serious mechanical problem happened in a two months new car. What will be happened in next few years and how about after the warranty period? Who is going to responsible if any accident occurs due to the transmission problem? Apparently, Honda is shirking its creditworthiness even there are plenty of defect transmission complaints in their first badge CVT. But I do not see any pragmatic action was taken in solving this problem so far. They purportedly did not recall their defect product even they knew such problem in a first place. Perhaps, I should listen to some of the reviews from those “victim” regarding how fragile the Honda CVT is. Maybe I was being so naïve in believing Honda. I should realise it when my parent’s Accord S84 had this problem after three years. Honda, could you please bow down to the earth and listen to the feedback from users. Stop being snobbish and be more responsible for every single parts in your vehicles! Quality assurance is on top of your priorities and satisfaction from customers is the only key to success.
