what type is your heatshield? is it a closed box with sponge/cloth around it? do air need to get in from the side of heatshield? or ur external CAI go direct into the heatshield? ..can u explain how it works?

17" on wira will greatly decrease the pickup, as i was using 16" before. what more with 17"....

i oso plan 2 put 15" in my wira...
mine is auto, will it affect pick up?

14" may be good for pickup but may not be so efficient at high speed (highways)

16" and above may not good for pickup but may be good at high speed (highway)

15" may stands in the middle of those two above(also depends variables like rim type, width, weight, tyre grip, stability)

*my opinion on 1.5 wira only..please add more or correct me if im wrong...

yes, without the CAI and the heat shield (box) you do not feel the power in the hot sun, yes it is custom made with plywood and sound proof material from those sub woofer , it is connected to a hose below and to a funnel as shown. the box is also seal up on top with acrylic. This is done by someone freelance for your info. the hose plus box is about S$300. I put 17" becos it look abit awkward for my bodykit. anyway maybe will try back 15".
FYI, with 17" high speed cornering so steady that you don't have to worry to slow down compare to 15"

the cornering is steady cos 17" usually come in 205mm width the smallest.
