It may be advise to those who are unaware and ignorant about TRD spare parts, but it has come to my attention to share this knowledge and information to all who are about to purchase some parts from TRD. There are some parts which TRD doesn't manufactured themselves and its OEM by some company. Furthermore as time evolve things get better and branding becomes more than just a engravement then just a print. To those who are seeking TRD spare parts please bear in mind that not all parts comes in engraving, some just merely a sticker or a print.

Exactly what are your point? do you mean to say that TRD Clutch and Pressure Plate should be directly be made by TRD?. From my knowledge, TRD Pressure Plate are commisioned to Daikin (Exedy) for manufacturing and Clutch Plate commisioned to AISIN Japan. TRD does not produce their own BUT they do send specific instructions on how they would like their item made. An OEM AISIN and TRD AISIN Clutch Plates might look the same but upon closer scrunity it will become apparent that TRD AISIN will bear a lot more details to the build. Similairly Toyota commisioned Nippon Denso to manufacture almost all of their items from Spark Plugs, Thermostat, Radiator Caps, Gauges, and host of other things. TRD supsensions come from the likes of Tokico, Bilstien and Kayaba. Springs from Eibach and many other. The difference is they commisioned them with very strict build instructions.

And yes, original TRD will still use both black imprint on thier items instead of engravings.

Very grateful to spend so much to example. So, it is true that TRD do come in imprint and engraving, right. But what happens when the imprint disappear from the pressure plate after being use for couple of months, is it still consider TRD.

Curiosity

Has any TRD enthusiast purchase any clutch that doesn't bear any TRD engraving on their product but imprint black ink into the product. Furthermore new and arrive in a box. Thank you, advice.

Beware of this seller name 'fast2'. He might be a lier

To share with you guys, i bought a set of so called TRD clutch set from this 'fast2'. His name is Nick, handphone 0192121019. He promise me that the plate and the cover he sold to me is TRD. When i pick up, there is no TRD print on the cover. I ask him, he say the cover is TRD without the print. Ok, i trust him and pay the money.
I brought back and check with a few friends, more than ten years in halfcut industry, telling me that this is not TRD. I called this Nick and ask him, he challenge me to check it with TRD authorised dealer in Bangsar. I immediate make a visit to Vision Auto and share with the sales person. Answer is not TRD. Ok fine, i call back this 'fast2' and he told me that the dealer don't know much on TRD products. THis Nick give me a comment "he own 3 car MR2, he got rights to proved that it is TRD, this is the prove that he give to the buyer."
All the while i talk to him in good manners, invite him to talk to me face to face, gentlemen talk. He start ignore my phone call, ignore my sms. For three days, he have no answer to my call and sms. Until this morning, i use an insulting sms to withdraw his call (in fact the only insulting word i use is fucker Nick) Finally, he give me a ring. I ask him give me a prove or money refund. He couldn't found a prove, argue that local dealer dunno TRD products, he know it is TRD. This is the way this fucker Nick doing business. I invite him for a gentlement talk been rejected. I invite him to talk in a save location, rejected. I invite him the best place to talk in a police station, save for him and save for me, he rejected. He not willing to face me. Ok, so now you guys know how this fucker Nick doing business.

His name is Nick, phone number 0192121019. He said he own few MR2. He sold a set of TRD clutch set to me. I found that is not TRD, so i call him. He challenge me to check with authorized dealer in Bangsar. I did check with Vision Motorsport, TRD dealer in Bangsar with the answer it is not. I ring him again. He change the story and claimed TRD dealer dunno much on trd product, trd dealer have no rights to declare that is not trd. He said he own 3 MR2 and ask me to trust him. I said to be fair, i need him to accompany me to get the prove, he ignore. I invite him to talk face to face, he ignore. Since then, he not answer my phone call, ignore my sms for few days. All the while i dealing with him in good manners.

This nick guy has a habit of what's he's just done to june_tam.

Its widely known that he's done that to many folks. Some parted with their money but got nothing back in return. Not even their car parts that he promised.

He promises all sorts of sky high promises but is never closed to fulfilling lar.

He does drive his wide body MR2....but tat body kit that he has is not without juicy bits of how he tricked some sporeans!

Eh 019 mobile? Tot he's using 012 number! But this is definitely the same guy who will not take your calls when he owes you money or when he has something to avoid you lar.
