The 50k SUV

Reminds me of suzuki sx4. 1.5 litre engine with vvt. Suzuki or Daihatsu.. Former more likely.

nola it wont be priced below rm50k...if not will kill perodua & especially proton, should be around rm70-90k.

But it came out in oto.com.my that it is selling at 50k - 2014 Great Wall Haval M4 1.5 SUV Johor, RM 50,000 - oto.my

That's the lowest spec and probably its empty inside. But it seems that ABS EBD and 2 Air Bags as standard. I guess people will still be sceptical on buying such a brand in Malaysia. But maybe construction people will buy it coz it's cheap. Like Kembara

I doubt it, Kembara 1st version was full time awd.. this is 2wd..not so suitable for site right? And I believe this can sell for RM50k..it is a China car after all. But manual..I doubt these days got ppl still buy manual other than performance cars.

Probably they will get the 4WD spec then..depends on what kind of site actually coz some want SUV because it is high enough to get around. Of course, if im site person i would prefer a hilux or triton more than this.

Saw this quite awhile wor. The name sucks.

Great wall of china ma hahaha

The full spec 2.0 will be expensive, like my Chery Tiggo, but still so much cheaper than the Korean...

i just knew recently that 4wd & AWD are different. 4wd is an older system where all 4 tyres moves at the same rate meanwhile AWD is a newer system where when you turn, the inside tyre moves slower than the outer or something like that (google it if you want to know more)

50k SUV is kinda cheap, well at least in Malaysia. Imagine what's the cost of this thing without tax and duties man...20k?

The question is would people buy china-made over a Perodua?

There isnt any economical local SUV left. The one remaining is P2 Nautica which is more expensive than Toyota Rush.
