Anybody owns suzuki b4 ?
How's their after sales service ? resell value ? spare parts availability/cost ?

Off topic : Better get brand new swift or 2nd hand jazz ?

Getting a new car is always better, provided the new car isn't completely crap compared to the 2nd hand option.

remember chevrolet? everybody thought DRB HICOM will fail in attempt to market Chevy cars in Malaysia. what more their complete line up is just a rebadged Daewoo or Holden (both in GM group).

after a while, consumers learnt if they never buy how would the brand grow? DRB is brave enough to bring the Swift back as a completely new model, though handicapped by its price due to its CBU status. its a good car, even though as a 4 speeder auto (no manual or CVT yet for local market).

its 1.5 VVTI is powerful and on par with Jazz VTEC, Vios and City though the last two had a lower power-to-weight ratio.

being assembled in Japan promises you the highest quality product, the Swift also a rare view on the road. one thing must bear in mind..why does it come with front wheel ABS coupled with big ventilated disc rotor?

such good stopping power means the car has the GO.

rumours say it that all new Vitara maybe the next model introduced.

wat about the spare parts ? are they expensive or just like other japanese makes ?

waja parts were also expensive back in year 2000. now more than 200,000 produced... things have become cheaper.

5 years ago one set of front or rear brake pad for waja will set you back about RM300. nowadays no more then RM38, still genuine parts.
Bee Sting antenna cost about RM300 per set, but after a few years (after so many cases of theft), the pole is sold separately at about RM90 only.

same thing will happen to CBU cars, worst to limited ones like Honda Jazz. Suzuki Swift will suffer a bit just like any other.

Swift I dunno la but own a vitara 1.6 3door 96' 2nd hand, not easy to find spare parts and parts r not cheap too (maybe its a 4wd)

wah nowadays swift number on the road is increasing very fast. u can see it almost everywhere....i think most ppl have had enuf of jazz extreme pricing.

ANY news on the new vitara? tried checking their site but they still market the 98 grand vitara. Hope its not the XL7, its just as ugly.

swift is one beautiful looking hatchback... i've never liked small cars but one glance of da orange swift took me off my feet...

in my opinion, its looks is second only to VW Golf GTO on ots category
