Bro,
These custom extractors are retail at RM1300, great at high rpm's...No obligations.
On the engine, do talk to D.Ho and hope everything turns out well. Perhaps we will talk
further when we meet during tt when I'm down in JB....keep in touch bro..

u mention abt extractor for wira...
do u have a customed made 1 for wira 1.5?4-2-1?
n wat sort of improvement will i b looking at compare to the wira SE 4-2-1?
i'm from JB...

Bro,
I currently have 4-2-1 / 4-1 ss equal length extractors for 1.8 only. Other models, not just yet. I cant say what difference in performance between the two models but flow and restriction does make a huge difference. The extractors length, diameter size be it primary or secondary must match well with engine output to gain maximum power.

Hi Gerard,

would like to no ur location & wud like to hav a feel on ur SC GTI. im driving a 2001 GTI, & still im not really sure whether its MMC or Siemens ECU. & wat in my mind is tat i don wan to turbo it but wud slowly upgrade it with NA. SC wud suits me better.
so, as wat i read fr ur 1st post, ur saying de 1st stage mod will gain up to 163hp dynoed. so, r u in any other stage with more hp already? (sorry tat i dint read the others, as there are too many pages already)
sorry for so many questions.
hope to hear from u soon. thx in advance.
cheers,
kelvin

ehh.. erm..if want put supercharger then add on turbocharge can ah? can fit into a satria onot?

Yo Gerard,

Have been running your supercharger kit for the past couple of months, need your input on the following modifications which I am contemplating;

1. The straight flow muffler is too loud. With the JPJ road block going about around town I don't want to attract their attention. What is your comment if I were to change it to the least restrictive S-Flow muffler that I can find?? Any reduction in power output? Or will this modification produce a more stable idle.

2. I have just found out that the supercharger is bolted directly to the cylinder head via the modified intake manifold. One of my friend brought up the subject that without bracing - the cylinder head might not be able to take the stress for long. So is there any truth in this?

I might do my own experiment and do my own 'brace' connecting the supercharger to the engine block - similar to the original brace for the original intake manifold.

Bro,
Nice to hear from you....On the exhaust system, s-type flow system will reduce the pitch and decible note of the exhaust, 2.5 inch is required all the way thru...Power wise, I do not forsee any significant drop between s and the straight flow...

On the bracing, no worries here, the thickness for the mounting flange has been tested and correct in size for our 1.8 system... been running this system all this while with zero problems encountered..We did try bracing some support underneath with no improvement but lots of work involved to remove and install...You can try it out and let me know of the results....But remember, upon installing complete 2.5 inch exhaust, you may require to do a re-tune with this new exhaust system...Let me know when you have done the exhaust system...

cheers

Bro,
Now this idea would be at a later stage....for the 1.8 but has been tested on a VR4 with great results.....Yup, would be able to fit into satria GTI engine bay..

Thanks pal...Btw for EBC brake pads what ype do you recommend the green ones or the black type..I'm thinking of using EBC and Pro RS steel brake hoses to upgrade my brakes...

Btw got the complete ECU diagrams for the Gen's drive by wire and e-throttle system, courtesy of my Sarawakian friend so next round DHO will try to tune using throttle sensors..hope it works out even better...

Super Charged.....

Hi to all sifu's. Right now i'm driving a Satria running on the Mivec 1.6 engine. Just modified a little bit such as adjustable cam pulley & racing clutch plate. I'm interested to Super Charge my car. Is it possible? Because you been saying that you are developing for the Proton engine. And how much the cost will be? Around RM5k? Reply back okay? Thanks....... Oh, by the way, my exhaust too has been modified.
