Suggested Activity : Johor Circuit Trip

Hi guys,

As some may know, orginally i planned to pay the Johor Circuit a visit with GTI4740 aka Black Mamba II and another friend. But due to unforeseen circumstances tak jadi

So, we've decided to properly plan another trip on a different date and hope to get more involved. A date has not been decided yet. But it will definately be on one of the Saturdays. This can be discussed.

We can go Saturday morning, 2pm to around 5pm we whack the circuit. They operate on 1hr intervals at RM70 per hour, so u can whack to ur liking. If just wanna follow look-look see-see also no prob. Then we go makan-makan somewhere in JB. After that who wanna go back can, overnight JB also can, up to u...

The Johor Circuit offers a very different experience to Sepang (Meor also can attest) and most of the time its rather empty and will probaly just be among ourselves with maybe a few others. So for first timers pun i feel it shouldn't be a problem... safer then whacking on hiway...

So, what say u?? Black Mamba 1 & 2, subcon, prasath, wafs, jun, desmond, semua lah... JOM!! anyone can join... lets plan one trip!

Sounds like a plan Lan. I propose we do this somewhere in July. What do you guys say? I can tell you guys it's a whole new experience driving in Johor Circuit. Not many cars even on the weekend. Last year me and minivan went there were only like 3-4 cars playing. Turn 9 is the best right turner ever coz it's a blind corner (if you're fast enuff la). if you missed it you'll be heading straight to the wall hahahaa....

17th sounds ok to me? 10th oso i think shudnt be anyproblem. i'll meet you guys in JB terus coz i'll be coming from east coast. can someone call tuan syed from the circuit and ask for availability on that particular date..just to make sure its not booked for private session or anything. my phone died so all contact gone. itinerary can be planned a week before travelling down south

Ok, it's looking like 17th is more probable. That gives plenty of time to plan. If based on their website calender it looks ok. I'll give them a call nnt to ask n confirm. There's also the Saturday nite sprint happening that nite, can put in itenary, if want...

wow we got so many participants here. lan u should organize more trip after this. simply bcoz you are good at it. thanks for your trouble. 2 questions i would like to ask

1. do we stay overnight? so that we can have our nightkidz session down south?we can sleep at meor's and ali tung chun house if accommodation is a problem just kidding

2. what time are we leaving kl?

i know this is still at early stage but planning is one of the fun part rite?

I think you guys can sort out your itenarary from KL. By the way if enough cars I think we can do a 2 or 3 laps B4BR (Battle for Bragging Rights) to end the session. The last car will have to belanja ikan bakar to all.. amacam?

Suggested itenary:

9.30am Gerak from KL
12.30pm Lunch somewhere in JB
2.00-5.00pm Johor Circuit - Rempit, photoshoot, etc...
5.30pm Makan petang somewhere
8.00pm Saturday Nite Sprint (Optional)

Now... i'll most probaly be going down to JB (balik kampung with da kids and all) on Friday 16th, so will be meeting up u guys for lunch and will be going back to KL on Sunday 18th, but this is not confirmed yet la...

So thing that need discussing:

1)KL group has to identify a meeting up place along the Hiway somewhere.

I suggest Bangi Tol, not because of being bias, but its otw, most southern member is subcon and is usually not a busy toll like Kajang for example, so senang kumpul. & Nilai R&R closed for renovation.

2)We need a good place for lunch and also makan petang in JB. Good food with easy parking.

So any ideas guys where is a good place?? Also other possible activities if any?

BTW, balik terus KL afterwards or overnight is own thing la i would say....
