The car is much more powerful then before...pickup is lot faster, can easily drag and revving respond is superb...it's like when you shift or drop gear you won't feel the "drag" from the transmission before u throttle again One thing i reliased during installation was since i open up both ECU to check what's the different on the circuitary....i found that the 0450 SGTi ECU is Step 1 ECU compare to Putra 97 one is Step 0... since the SGTi PCB have aditional chipset and adaptor for rechip. I will post up photos tomorrow how different is both ECU PCB look like. On top of that i also solve his Check Engine Light Problem..meaning before this when he using his ECU the light can't go off and went to check error code couple time keep saying his Co2 sensor spoiled....now the Check Engine Light is OFF !!!! :D Idling also much more stable...he said exhaust sound also become more compact, he is using sporty muffler so can hear clearly the bassy muffler sound become more bassy :huh: "My question now is :-1. Can Step 1 ECU really go directly into Step 0 ECU w/o upgrading or change the wiring from Step 0 to Step 1 ? 2. According to most ppl, if ECU mismatch mostly "Check Engine" won't go off..but why in his car the light problem seem to be "solved" after install the Step 1 ECU ?3. Since both ECU using different emission system - Co2 Adjuster and O2 sensor...so by using a ECU that doesn't support the car emission system WILL IT cause ANY harm to anywhere (ECU/Engine/etc) ?4. Why the Putra 97 pickup/revving respond is much more better now ?? If it because of the Rechip or because of Step 1 ECU that didn't "sense" the existance of Co2 adjuster ??5. Will this Step 1 ECU cause any harm to the entire system of Step 0 ECU ?6. Last, can i use this 1.8 ECU into Proton 1.3/1.5/1.6 SOHC or 4G91 engine by just plugging it in ?? Pros and Cons ?</blockquote>
