ohhh....u mean adjust the spark plug's gap to engine, not gap between spark plugs, right?

what he meant is the gap between the electrodes of the spark plugs..

:)
you are right!!! ;)

it is called a feeler gauge .. you can find it in any hardware shop .. it's not some high tech speacialised tool .. you first of all need to know what is the spark plug gap clearance for you engine then only adjust it from there and yes even brand new spark plugs clearance are not what they claim to be when checked with the feeler gaguge.

ohhh...have seen and done on my first service....the eon mech has done some adjustment after i complain that my car is "shake' when idling....

ermm...the spark plug gap you were mention is

the gap in bettween the spark plug and teh combustion point?

how to you check it?

arent that tool to measure the tappet gap ? n use that to adjust the tappet according to gap measurements ?

Yes, it's called a feeler gauge and you can use it to measure your tappet gap, spark plug gap, or any other gap that you want to measure :P

feeler gauge not so expensive laaaa .. should be around RM 50 +/- 20 or so .. depend on where it's made I guess .. i dunno what it's called in chinese la sorry ...  yes this tool is used by mech to basically measure any gaps B)
