hi guys,

i'm curious as to whether sockets manufactured by one company can fit the handtool made by another, taking into account both the socket and the tool are 1/2" drive

say, for example...i have a ratchet wrench from STANLEY. can i use sockets from SATA or SNAP-ON or KTC?

because, i'm planning to buy a t-bar from STANLEY, and maybe a few sockets as well.
the thing is, in the near future, i might consider getting a torque wrench (from another make), which has a ratchet drive anyway.

thanks in advance

cheers

u mean stanley tai ur fren?

no...not stanley tai my friend :P

the stanley brand of hand tools, hehehe

sexycar, i have no idea...i just gave it as an example. but you can get sata automotive tools though, just flip through motor trader. they used to run adverts in there.

no one can answer my question?

cheers
