Any recommendation that works well with civic EG hatchback. Hope can give suggestion what to look for. Any side effect if changed to short shift.
Thanks in advance for sharing.

Short shift allows you to shift faster.. but only as fast as your flywheel allows it.. :P

I'm using an EK9 short shifter in EG sedan (actually EH2, but some people only know EG.. so...), including the linkages. Not very cheap though.

crxr, mind telling me about your RM250 quick shift? If including linkage.. I want.

Stainless steel version or the black one?

does it need to come in one set for ex. (short shift + linkage) or can we just buy the short shift and use the existing linkage.

That's the strange part.. last time I tried, cannot, because the shifter stick is slightly wider than stock at the bottom o-joint.. maybe if you mod it.. maybe.

Or maybe there's a version that can use the stock linkage.. I also cannot say for sure.

so it should have the correct pair in order to install.

definitely the ITR short shifter. betterwise complete with the linkage in an EG.

just to double triple confirm, the EK9 ones are gold linkages and the ITRs are silver linkages right?

no side effects for short shifter.....

i know someone is using the B&M short shifter. no need to change linkage. but u must buy the correct one for ur car model.

I have brand new omni power short shifter for eg/ef forsale at rm380.

I am currently using a C's Shortshifter on my ek and it seems to touch my piping when i slow down ....i have adjusted my piping a little lower but the problem is still there... Does this mean the shortshift is incompatible or are there any other ways around it?
