Hi everyone...

Recently got my self a saga lmst 07, only done 34K.

I having having some problems lately:

* Clutch very hard, especially when shifting to 1st and reverse (make a noise sometimes). If i am to repair it how do u think its gonna cost?

* Also brakes were not good changed the front brake pad, still got some noise and very soft the brake pedal.

* there is some oil leak, think its the oil seal in the timming belt. Do i have to change the whole set or just the oil seal is enough?

* got some squeak noise form the rear seat. How to fix this?

Thanks for your time.... Glad if you could offer me your advise....:)

clutch plate worn out - maybe previous owner stepping half clutch while driving coz looking at the mileage...its still new.....cost not expensive...rm300 to rm380 for whole new stock set.....
* Also brakes were not good changed the front brake pad, still got some noise and very soft the brake pedal.
since its new, try to do a few hard braking & see if the sound goes off...if not then maybe get yr mech to remove the pad and sand paper it...might helps..or change to a better pad. pedal soft?? check the brake hose, brake servo & cylinder for any leaks.....
* there is some oil leak, think its the oil seal in the timming belt. Do i have to change the whole set or just the oil seal is enough?
if the engine oil leak into the timing belt compartment, pls change the whole set of timing belt & seals immediately...it might snap anytime then it will cost u a bomb! not expensive item, cost u about rm300 all in....
* got some squeak noise form the rear seat. How to fix this?
usually it comes from the rear speaker board...try put some rubber compound onto the surface where the board and speaker casing touches....it might help....

the advice above are based on my own experience with my proton.....if anything not right kindly advice.....just trying to help...cheerz....:proud:
