Removing Proton Logo

Quick question... How do you remove the Proton logo from the back of the car without scratching the paintwork?

try to senget-senget kan a bit and spray WD-40, then senget-senget kan a bit and spray WD-40, senget-senget kan a bit and spray WD-40, then senget-senget kan a bit and spray WD-40, thens enget-senget kan a bit and spray WD-40, then senget-senget kan a bit and spray WD-40 .. that wat i did the 2nd day i bought my wira ... but dont use screw driver or handy knife .. it will hurt ure car ..

hmmm...try peal of the edge abit..then pour hot water..slowly peal it off..thats how i did ;)

if dun have hot air gun, hairdryer also can.

the remaining goo can be removed by goo-gone or similar products,

can .. can .. dont worry .. malaysian cars use stickers .. not like old jap cars ... holed ... we have tried to remove our frens 1995 wira's emblem ... but frankly a bit hard .. but after removal .. no scratches or dents .. ;)

Use dental floss then spray WD40 to clean the remaining tape. Cheers..

I thot we r not allowed to remove the proton logo ? or r we not allowed to change it to other logo ? Correct me if i am wrong

can remove .. but must be replaced wif proper emblem. eg. if change to mirage or lancer put mitsubishi emblem there .. dunt put something else or leave empty ;)

Actually, both also illegal.

My car was stopped by JPJ for using a VR4 emblem on the front grille eventhough it has the original Mitsubishi emblem both front and back.

Yeah, my car is just a Super Saloon (VR4's cheaper cousin).

According to them, this is considered misbranding and hence illegal.

Removing the whole emblem also illegal.

Just my 2 sen... and also depends on your luck. I got away with a warning. Went home and threw the VR4 emblem away. :P

Y r they so busybody wanna catch this kinda things all haa! Got so many offender's out there lah, drug pusher's, rapist, murderer's,thieves............no balls to catch them but very active in catching people who change logo on their own car..........doesn't it sound silly..............gosh! which part of earth is this hah!

I talked to one traffic police, according to him it's a offece coz simple when u change the logo and u hit somebody n run, how to identified ur car, not everyone pandai the moment they c the external they knw wat car, some ppl will look at the logo around to identify, thi is also the case where u cannot totally modify the bumper, grill n stuffs. wen he put it tht way it does make sense
