Rebore , good ? bad ?

anyone here did rebore of their block ?
i am using a vr4 , planning to rebore to 86mm , becos i got broken pistons and a scratched cylinder wall
so guys , i have good feedbacks and also several bad ones..

wht ur opinion
any good machine shops ?

i rebore also wat, nothing wrong (if ur mech knows wat he is doing) heheheheh :p

VR4 block so tahan... 86mm wat la... since rebore liau, just go the distance straight... 87mm fairlady pistons... will give u a 2.1 litre ride.

I can intro my mech to you if u're interested lar.

rebore is ok wan... as fstrader said as long as ur mech know wat he doin... = )

its not ok for all engines... but in this case, 4G63 wanna go up to 86mm is not a problem.

If u drive a 4G93 and wanna make a 1mm overbore... byebye reliability, especially for turbo. Confirm won't be able to take track torture.
