R3-Satria (gti)

Guys,i've been reading this thread from head to toe,cuz i'm one of the R3 fans too.^^

My loan for R3 already approved, now the only thing i gotta do is wait, kinda excited, haha

Need some opinion from u guys,my waja was stolen last month near SS15,i not gonna park my new R3 at any housing area anymore, phobia d. Izzit better to park at indoor parking or outdoor?

Thx in advance

BTW,izzit installing 4 different lock nuts on each rims is a good idea, there's lotsa cars lost their rims at SS15 :(

hey guys

i was at PowerZone just yesterday, and i had the rare privilige to see one of the R3 owners had his extractor replaced with PowerZone's.

the build quality is superb! So thumbs up there :) the joints are perfect! no weld 'drooling' all over the place. Does not impede flow.

BUT: upon veryvery close inspection: the flange had carbon build-up at the edges of the exhaust holes.. aiks?
according to Sirazul, these are caused by not matching the ports to the flange. Hence the exhaust air had to 'trip' over this, impeding perfect airflow.

oh, the dude fitted and reported better low-mid end response. No dyno figures tho.
interesting!

sousuke, will try to make it tonight then. Hope you guys are still there after 11pm ;)

Stan, did PZ's extractor and downpipe come with a hole for the O2 sensor?

Beats me why you'd want to spend more money changing something that's already tuned-length in the first place, but it's the owner's choice I guess.

Will be interesting to know what gains are obtained by switching. If there is impediment of airflow with the stock ones, then it should translate to better dyno figures for the PZ headers.

PZ headers are reputable, just want to know if its really worth the price to switch.

Time for ANOTHER dyno session!

But I'm not going on the rollers first. Tabooo for me! hahah

^^ finally got ppl choi me,haha...

Then where u guys usually park ur car at?

Indoor parking are shaded, got "guard" and camera, but then the guard usually sit n day dreaming only =.="

Outdoor parking got lotsa ppl pass by,more secure i think, cuz crowded, but then hard to prevent ppl from scratching you car and so on.

Haihz~~~ damn those thiefs.

R3 guys.. is the savvy R3 in production now? coz i saw a few black savvies at speedworks.. installing exhaust perhaps? :D

Guys, I was looking around for any thread on the Gen2 R3, couldn't find it. So I thought the next best thing would be this thread. I would be in the hunt for another car in the near future and this car poses a mouth watering prospect. Any ideas how much it'll cost and when it'll be up for sale and specs and everything?

silverfish, why not have the honour of being the first ZTHian to start a Gen2 R3 thread? You don't have to be an owner to start it. :D

Even this thread was started loooong before the car came out. This thread's starter also ended up buying the car! ;)

Emmm...dunno mate. Didn't want to, :D, so that nobody would notice it if I didn't end up buying one?

woo...

the no. of r3 available suddenly drop to 12...
is there any forumer going for group order and going to start a r3 gang?? :p

decide to make an order at damansara mutiara showroom this sunday.

definately disabling that feature sometime this week before i go back >.QUOTE]

why?
to me, it's a cool feature because sometimes when i park my car out in the sun, the car is too hot to enter straight away...
so, i autostart it and let the air condition cool it down 1st...
