i was at PowerZone just yesterday, and i had the rare privilige to see one of the R3 owners had his extractor replaced with PowerZone's.
the build quality is superb! So thumbs up there :) the joints are perfect! no weld 'drooling' all over the place. Does not impede flow.
BUT: upon veryvery close inspection: the flange had carbon build-up at the edges of the exhaust holes.. aiks?
according to Sirazul, these are caused by not matching the ports to the flange. Hence the exhaust air had to 'trip' over this, impeding perfect airflow.
oh, the dude fitted and reported better low-mid end response. No dyno figures tho.
interesting!

si|verfish said:Guys, I was looking around for any thread on the Gen2 R3, couldn't find it. So I thought the next best thing would be this thread. I would be in the hunt for another car in the near future and this car poses a mouth watering prospect. Any ideas how much it'll cost and when it'll be up for sale and specs and everything?
sousuke said:definately disabling that feature sometime this week before i go back >.QUOTE]
why?
to me, it's a cool feature because sometimes when i park my car out in the sun, the car is too hot to enter straight away...
so, i autostart it and let the air condition cool it down 1st...
