Hey lude,

congrats on your purchase! welcome to the club :D.

you should keep pestering your SA, yes, coz they tend to slack off sometimes. and make sure they don't lose your documents! *hint*

Hi,

Just wondering, does the SR3 have any security additions?
Also, has anyone los an SR3 yet?

Hey touch wood man! Nope...standard SR3 only has stock Proton alarm. Not even immobilizer. But most owners already have 2-3 security devices in their car...

yeah,
i installed the alarm system prozac recommended...
pretty cool because it comes with an engine auto start function and some other

Stock alarm is a joke. Please, please invest in a good alarm system. A few of us, esp the first batch of SR3s have Captor and Radiostar. I believe some with Clifford too.

One reported stolen in Terengganu. A few had their spoilers flicked. Just becareful where you park.

dont know if u guys heard about this but called up my friend last week who owns an r3 and he told me that his car was broken into.. seats, knob and the dummy spoiler was stolen.. supposedly now the car is in mutiara..

just finish settling the number plates and the SA said i should expect delivery in a few days.. really appreciate any recommendation u guys can give on alarm systems etc.. coz after what happened to my friend.. need to take every extra precaution possible..

Take care of your cars guys. With the recent advances in R3 marketing and public awareness, our cars are highly targetted. Kudos to R3 for their work! The R3 booth at Dreamcars was also awesome. Envy the Gen.2 R3 a litttle too. Keep it up! :D

I managed to source an article about "Bump steer" for those who are still  about it :

"Definition of bumpsteer: Bump-steer is a change in toe* angle caused by the suspension moving up or down. Bump-steer is built into the geometry of the suspension and steering system, and has nothing to do with turning the steering wheel. The effect of bump-steer is for the wheel to toe-in or toe-out when the suspension moves up or down. This toe change or “steering” occurs any time the suspension moves, whether it is from body roll, brake-dive, or hitting a bump in the road. Bump steer is undesirable because the suspension is steering the car instead of the driver."
